Billing, cancellation and refunds

What you are buying
StackRates Pro costs $12 per month and removes the monthly cap on AI advisor recommendations. Everything else on the site — all plan data, all provider pages, all head-to-head comparisons — is free and stays free, so a subscription buys advisor volume and nothing else. Free accounts keep 3 recommendations per calendar month.
Recurring billing
This is a recurring subscription. Stripe charges your payment method today and again each month on the same date until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax Stripe is required to add for your location. Your access is granted only after Stripe confirms the payment — we never mark an account as Pro on the strength of a browser redirect alone.
How to cancel
Cancel any time using the manage-subscription link in the Stripe receipt emailed to you, or by emailing support@stackrates.ai from your account address and asking us to cancel. No notice period and no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Pro access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account reverts to the free allowance. Cancelling does not delete your account.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with Pro, email support@stackrates.ai within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that month's payment in full. We will also refund a duplicate charge, or a renewal charged after you asked us to cancel, in full and without argument. Beyond the 14-day window we do not refund part-used months, because the cost of an advisor run is incurred when it runs. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, typically within five to ten business days.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails, Stripe retries according to its standard schedule and your account stays on Pro during that window. If the payment ultimately fails, the account returns to the free allowance — we do not send anything to collections.
