1. What this service is

StackRates is an independent comparison site for cloud and managed hosting plans. We publish provider list prices together with the date they were recorded and a link to the provider's own pricing page. We are not a hosting provider, not a reseller, and not an agent of any provider listed.

2. Pricing data and accuracy

Every price shown is a published list price recorded on 2026-08-30. Providers change prices, regional pricing, promotional terms and included allowances without notice, and taxes are not included. Prices shown here are therefore a research starting point, not an offer, quote or guarantee. Always confirm the current price on the provider's own page — which is why we link to it on every plan — before you buy.

Rankings and cost-per-vCPU or cost-per-GB figures are computed from those published specifications. They are our own normalisation, not a provider endorsement, and they are not influenced by whether a provider pays us.

3. The AI advisor

The advisor selects from the plans in our dataset only. It is not permitted to invent plans, prices or providers, and it will tell you when nothing in the dataset fits your requirement rather than guessing. It is an automated suggestion tool: it does not know your workload, your compliance obligations or your traffic pattern beyond what you type, and its output is not professional or architectural advice. You are responsible for verifying any recommendation before acting on it.

Free accounts receive 3 advisor recommendations per calendar month. The allowance is counted on our servers, and attempting to bypass, reset or automate around that limit is a breach of these terms.

4. Affiliate links and how we are paid

Some outbound provider links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them at no extra cost to you. Providers that pay no commission are listed with the same data and the same prominence, because omitting a cheaper option would make the comparison useless. Commission never changes the ordering. 5. StackRates Pro subscription

StackRates Pro costs $12 per month and removes the cap on advisor recommendations. It is a recurring subscription: it renews automatically each month and charges the payment method you gave Stripe until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Full billing, cancellation and refund terms are on the refunds and cancellation page.

6. Accounts and acceptable use

You need an account only for the advisor. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not scrape the site at a volume that degrades it, resell or redistribute the dataset as your own, or use the site to break the law. We may suspend an account that does these things.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, First State Growth LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and is not liable for your dealings with any hosting provider, including their pricing, billing, uptime, data loss or support. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact
